    Just wondering, why do people ask for the mapsource version while the IMG should be enough? Sorry I'm new to the local GPS scene.

    Mapsouce version let you choose if you want to send the whole map to your gps or just a part, you can plan your routes , create waypoints and send them to your gps-

    guess we can do that! it's going to be opened up to the general public now? not to offend the roadguide guys and correct me if i got it wrong, but it seemed to me that it was too hard to get contributor status and even then i heard that the map was being offered for sale to mapping firms (or was it being sold already?), if you were a contributor, the contribution you gave for free was being sold. not cool!

    Hi i just tried to unlock the map ver 1.16 with jetmouse using MapID: 12140, PID: 1, RgnID: 1 but i keep on getting the error Map product not installed.

    Am i doing something wrong? need help. Thanks!

    in new firmware gps devices, maps with any FID above 2200 will be locked if there is no .gma unlock file, so send it to your pc HD and ,before copying the img in your garmin device sd ,run on it

    What happened to the map, a lot of POI's here in QC got misaligned.
