hey guys, im in the philippines right now and the search function is working on my 1.18 contributers, using WM6.5 & GMxT 5.00.20wp ..map is VERY accurate...have not found a wrong direction yet and search function is great . Taxis in manila that im using it in, the drivers all love being guided by Garmin as most only know the main streets and their engarish is terrible.

im not sure where you guys are going wrong that cant access search, must be a different roadguide.ph.exe than i got ??

does anyone know how to solve the "can't authenticate map" error when loading maps from Mapsource 6.16.3 to garmin nuvi?

Really need your help. I've tried reading the tutorials Index but can't seem to find the solution as how to make the search address work on v1.18. I used the MS version and succesfully installed it on my PPC. Works wonders except for the abovementioned problem. When i tried downgrading it to v1.16, the search address function works. My concern is if this is really a bug on the 1.18 (although i don't hear any similar comments/ complaints) or maybe i did something wrong during the installation process. Please guide me. Thanks!

hello, im a newbie here but find this thread very much helpful. I am now using mobilext in 4 days and so far i find it very useful and informative comparing to OVI map. My unit is Nokia C7-00 and no problems at all.

btw, thanks for 1.18. Works fine on my Nuvi 295W. Haven't fully tested it yet, just simulated a couple of destinations.

any chance to share the link to the 1.18 version that you have? guess the main issue is the search functionality - in case of our installation, there is none. 1.17 though has it.

As pointed out by catymag, I downloaded the 1.18 in post #83. Loaded it into my GPS unit and lo and behold "Search" functions. It could be a case of a corrupted img file in my previous download. Thanks to mattBLK and catymag.
