I downloaded it 4 times,
lol for me it is a basemap and it's not an archive, but a gmapsupp.img 101 MB (106.520.576 byte)
this one :Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap v.2

Seems like Multispectral (map developer) mixed up this update. They would be correcting this issue shortly. For now, just forget this download.

May be it's megaupload, if you upload an img , can be, the given link points to another file with the same name.
It happens sometimes, better to rar files and give them a different name than gmapsupp.img

I checked in my Gps and really what appears is a different archive, which you mentioned: Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap v.2. Fault of the Multispectral. Certainly they will be going to correct and soon I will send this new version of the Autoguide.

it's a prank... a serious prank . A very serious mistake.
Imagine the situation: the person has updated the GPS and has an important trip tomorrow. And this will depend on GPS ...
But he did not properly update! it has a map out of date and inappropriate.
...try to navigate (for example), in sao paulo, only using the Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap v.2. and will have a very bad experience.

what we learned?
It is much safer to do download this forum ... than the official site of the map!!!
