If you are installing Garmin WorldMap you should use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Looking at earlier posts in this thread there's the everlasting urban-forum-myth misunderstandingabout World Map v4.0 & v4.06 (with map data from January, 1999)- It's a mix-up of the MapSource versions and NOT the real World Map versions.
The thread with World Map v4 & v4.06 is just Garmin World Map (first release without a official version number, internally referred to as v2) with MapSource v4 + update for MapSource to v4.06.

Use the newer ACTUAL Garmin World Map v4 instead (map data from August, 2006).

If you already have mapsource (special) installed, does it get overwritten by the mapsource in the Denmark installer package?

Hey guys...
Great thread... Do anyone have the .img for micro-SD card? It is much easier just to plug into the GPS device. It would be of a fantastic help if anyone have links to the image.
