You have a problem with your usb ports
Check in Device Manager all the USB ports and hub for a yellow ‘!’ indicating a conflict or problem. Try a different USB port. Sometimes unplugging, then plugging back in they start working.
If it's not an USB problem try this: use a card reader and transfer the map in an sd, insert the sd in your unit , plug the gps into your pc and transfer the map from sd to internal memory.

    This is my first upload:-
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Its a 180 MB File.
I found it to be more detailed as far as new delhi is concerned.I compared with the 230 MB file people have uploaded taking NEWDELHI AS a standard to compare.
    You can try it out.

This is MMI version 4, its good, but not perfect, I've done Bangalore-Pune, Bangalore-Goa, Banglore-Chennai, Pune-Bombay, though its right the problem is at many places in these cities there are One-ways, work-in-progress kind of situations, Nonetheless its the best currently available, I'm using Garmin 285W

Been using MMI V6 and though its updated its complte rubbish outside any big city, infact it appears worse of than V4, I made a trip from Bangalore to Ooty and many of the PoI's are outright nonsense. The distance marked seemed accurate but anything else isnt. ATM's, Fuel pumps etc are just about accurate. Used it pretty long enough to come to this conclusion.
