Thread: TrekMap Italy v2 - MapSource - untouched

Hi. I found very useful your clarification about GMA file. I tried both the patched version of MapSource and BaseCamp but I noted that MapSource run fine avoiding the map authentication control. The patched BaseCamp, instead, doesn't work at all! I think the reason is that tha version of patched BaseCamp.exe is 3.05 while the original I had on my PC is version 3.06. So maybe the .DLL' version (3.06) is in conflict with the patched Basecamp version 3.05. I would find a patched BaseCamp version 3.06. Do you have it?

Hello I also have a problem with this map. I unlocked it with JM Key-gen 1.5 (using Unit ID and MapID 2212)
I use Mapsource 16.16.2 with patch and I have unlocked several maps with succes. In the Map product information tab it states: "TrekMap Italia v2 2.00 Unlocked" I can use the map in MapSource like other maps. I transfered a part of the map to my Oregon 450. When I start the GPS I get the message: "Can't Authenticate Maps". What should I do to get a working map on my handheld?

All maps with FID 22xx and up have GMA protection you most unlock IMG file with Unlocker

I will search voor the patched versions of mapsource & Basecamp.
You mention newer GPS units may still block the map.
I own an Oregon 450 with software version 3.40
Is that device likely to block this map?

After some patching I can now see de details in basecamp en I can download to my GPS.
Unfortunately mij GPS (Oregon 450 soft version 3.40) will not show the map.
So I have to look for another solution

Hi guys! I got a problem with the downloading cause I'm not so able with these things. After I downmload the rar files from Uploaded it asks me for these passords? What's that? How to solve this question? Thankssss!
