Perhaps garmin scaled down their jcvs? But everything is suspect now since the original map (2011.20) is missing MExico and who knows what else too.

BTW, if anyone has a Map membership with Garmin, this is how you can get the mapsource file and save it to device which will we need if we want Mexico and the full Mapsource application:

I have lifetime membership with Garmin for North America and Canada, will that work? I am a novice, so I am not sure how to go about doing this.

Mapsource is included. The torrent link is the mapsource file for North America (but not Mexico)

Muchas gracias, lo siento no se ingles alguen me puede ayudar porfavor, no pude desbloquear el mapa, uso GarminUnlockGenerator1.5 para desbloquear, hice todos los pasos y sigue bloqueado el mapa, en Select Map Product: escojo la opcion <custom mapset>, en FID 2265, en PID 1, OK. Generate, Introduzco el codigo (NO ME APARECE EL CODIGO ESTA EQUIVOCADO) pero sigue el estado del mapa bolqueado.

In post #1 it says: torrent file from demonoid attached and in the torrent file (Mexico included), but I can't find any torrent link to the MapSource version. Am I overlooking something?

IE 8 may boot up in 2 sec because it is already running. It also, as you have found, stinks at doing certain things and has other anomalies that render it worthless as a secure browser. The JCV files have been getting smaller for sometime but I have nothing to suggest it is nothing more than better compression algorithms. Also, it might be that Mexico has been dropped from North America CN?

Caty - any hope of the ASR files for the 8xx at some point down the road, and has anyone found the fix for getting them to work once found and installed? I know this was an issue on the last one or two updated CN's for the 8xx's. Perhaps this update will only see its way onto my 765T and not the 885T. Much thanks in advance.
