For anyone who wants to make a POI file I have extracted the raw POI data from the map and saved it as a series of CSV files. Get it [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Currently, I'm at the point where I've gotten the data into a usable form and can actually compile a .GPI file from it. However, I've discovered a lot of duplicates in the data, probably because of the multiple data levels in the map. Once I've worked through the duplicates, I can work on either using Garmin's icons or making my own.
