    Cool Daniel

I have to make a new update soon, there is a lot of new data that I can add but finding the time to do this is always a problem. Anyway will keep you posted and please track your hike and send me the data, even if your hike is already on my map. I use the data to improve my current data vault.

    Thanks catymag

Future users please note that I will always keep the most current version of this hiking map at Tracks4Africa, I have been an active community member and data contributor for this area of SA for many years with them so please actually buy their maps if you are going to use than, they are well made and not expensive at all. The Drakensberg Hiking map is free, always will be while I make it, I see it as my contribution to safety in The Berg, it has upset some of the hikers in this area for some reason but I do not care what they think, this is simply information on a map there for anyone that cares to use it. I only ask to help me by actually tracking your hikes there and sharing this with me so that I can keep on adding new information to the map, surely that is not a unreasonable request....or is it?

    Take care and happy hiking

    Hi Guys

Just for information the hiking data on this map now forms part of the latest version of the Track4Africa - Free State, KwaZulu Natal & Eastern Cape map portion from verion 15.10 onwards, obviously significantly updated and now the hiking trails are also auto-routable. So if you do require an updated version of these hikes then this is where you will find it.

For only R149.00 (ZAR) it is really worth supporting these guys and buying the map

You take care and happy and safe hiking
