For 1.13g above..> you can right click on mount then extract the exe files.

I tried the steps and successfully joined all the maps of version 1.13g by using and also using gmaptool with FID as 12140 and PID as 1. When I tried to unlock the map by using garmin unlocker, I'm getting an error. The map is still in the LOCKED folder. Would somebody please explain why thus is happening. Merci!
