If you use the name for a secondary supplemental map it should be "gmapsup2.img" (NOT 'gmapsupp2.img'). Most Garmin IMG-names use the old MS-DOS style with 8+3 limit. One exception is "gmapprom1.img".
Also check for latest firmware "KNA G520 software version 4.10" as of July 7, 2010. Maybe something is added to support 2010-2011 maps like the comment for Middle East and v4.00 or that you're using a SDHC card with a FW < v4.10?
One problem that may occur with a new firmware would be possible implementation of GMA digital certificates for MapIDs >= 2200. That should however not be a problem with a unlocked map.Change History

But, I allready do have the newest firmware (4.10). I loadet it yesterday.
I renamed the file into the Garmin folder to "gmapsup2.img" and I put the SD-card again into Kenwood and nothing happened again.
Do you know, how to bring the map (2009) which is in the device (Kenwood) out of them and to bring the new (unlocked) maps into Kenwood??
