Thread: Garmin City Navigator Singapore/Malaysia NT 2010.10 (IMG/JCV)

When I load the CN SG/MY 2010 into my nuvi 765T, bought it from Taiwan. Everything is fine except the JCV file. it said could not display lant assistant on my nuvi. Anybody know how to fix this?

I'm afraid JCV will not work in non Sg/My localized Nuvis. The only "fix" to enable Sg/My JCV is to flash Nuvi's firmware to Sg/My localized firmware and this process requires a force flashing method which is not consented by Garmin.

Could you show me how to flash the firmware to Sg/My firmware? Thanks!

Could you show me how to flash the firmware to SG/MY?
I sent my unit for repair and was replaced with a new unit without flashing the appropriate firmware for me.
And I am too lazy to go back for warranty service, so would appreciate if you could teach me how to flash it.

bro - I had bought a 255W from australia and saved a wee bit on the price, thanks to the sudden exchange rates drop... but now realise that it won't display Junction View.

how do I flash this,....
