This map will work on PC and the unit! Just copy the Sweden_TOPO map to C:\Garmin dir and run the .reg file. So you don't have to enter a unlock code....
The MapSource software from Garmin need to be installed on your pc.

As the above posts, thanks for the up. These have already came in handy on a few trips.

Now checking on myGarmin it appears that Friluftkartan Pro V2 is now avail. Has anybody seen these puppies yet ?

The whole topo Sweden as one file, rename gmappsup.img and copy to a Garmin directory

This is a collection of the four components of the Outdoor Map Pro , Norra Norrland, central and southern Norrland, Svealand and Götaland.

Duplicates of the different elements overlap are removed.

The file is exactly 1 Gb so that it does not fit on a 1GB memory card.

Hey,

Thanks for the links. I am some – probably stupid, I’m still learning- questions on this…
I downloaded the maps though the links above and was expecting to get 4 submaps, but instead I get 9 (OMR2-OMR10). The part I need, around Abisko, seems to be on OMR2, but for some reason lacks all detail around Abisko (suddenly, the details stop). Maybe the details are on OMR1?? Then I downloaded the complete map through the other link, but this has installation instructions in Swedish (well, I guess it’s Swedish). So, I have some questions:
- Why don’t I get the 4 submaps from the figure above?
- What do I need to do to get them?
- How do I get OMR1?
- And how do I get the details around Abisko
- Does anybody have the installation instructions in English?
A lot of questions, I ‘m sorry for this, I just hope somebody can help me get the information I need on my gps.
