I'm downloading now but it'll be slow going on Rapidshare...

Edit-
Ok, So I downloaded the full rapidshare 12 part version extracted it, unlocked x.30 maps with Jetmouse and installed it using the mapsource program. Now my Garmin 765T says it cannot unlock the maps. What did I do wrong?

Edit-
Strike that, I was entering the unit serial number not ID. It loads now. I also just deleted the .sum files after copying the lane assist and 3D file over. The unit hasn't exploded yet but I won't be able to test out the settings until tomorrow...

Thank you, that's a really good link. I have the Nuvi 7x5 but today i lost my lifetime traffic. I dunno if this was because I copied the gmapprom.img onto my Nuvi drive.

I also recommend people download via torrents (the pirate bay) for a faster download.

I am a newbie here. I finally got it work with my Garmin Mobile PC though I didn't download the map here.
Same question as other people above, will .30 mapsource version be out?

please forgive me for my ignorance. I have searched and read the How-To's.

I have a nuvi 255w and want to update the map to the .30 version.

Can I simply use MapUpload to do this? I have read the FAQs and it says to copy the .30 .img into the Garmin folder, but everytime I do this, it says it cannot copy as the device does not have enough memory.

I have renamed appropriately as well and tried to use SD card but it doesn't do anything, even after restarting the 255w.
