    All explained in first post:

    1. Get file / files
    2. Unpack with WinRar (you'll get GMAPSUPP.IMG file)
    3. Transfer to:
    in GARMIN GPS device - rename file to GMAPPROM.IMG , directory \Garmin
    in SD memory card - do not rename the file, directory \Garmin
    Yes, copy in GARMIN folder

    Big thanks to the Big 3 who sorted all of the files out for Nav areas.
    UK/Ireland works g8.
    unpack France & try to save it on SD card but has same filename ?
    Should I just change the filename ?
    Also how do you get terrain /parks/golf courses displayed ?
    Can I get Lanechange & 3d buildings ?
    I have a Nuvi 205W. Just using my SD card.

    just one IMG per card or merge them in one gmapsupp.img
    Lanechange & 3d buildings works only with the Garmin Nuvi 7x5 series and the Garmin zūmo 660 GPS navigators
