it's not clear what you downloaded because you posted in this thread, this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] you mentioned is not the latest, the latest version is this one of 2015: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and like the 2010 one is an img and not a pc version.
Anyway img with FID greater than 2200 cant be unlocked by JM, you must use gimgunlock:

Gmapsupp.img maps can be loaded in Basecamp from a Garmin directory in sd. Mapsource (discontinued) is not suitable for raster maps like GB Discoverer maps and topo maps in general.
