rename to gmapsupp.img and copy to a garmin directory
if it's the second map rename it gmapsup2.img

I dont understand something. Why one map locked and other unlocked? Are different? If not, I just will going use the unlocked, right?

firstly it was posted the unlocked one, then I found a link for an unlocked one
the locked one needs an sw.unl file, the unlocked one works without it in any device

Je me excuse, je nï¿½ï¿½cris pas en franï¿½ais depuis presque trente ans. Bon, il faut ï¿½dowloadï¿½ le ï¿½fileï¿½ et le mettre dans le directoire du GPS (Gamin). Il faut change le nom originale a ï¿½gmapsupp.imgï¿½ et ca va travailler sans problï¿½mes.

Je peut ï¿½crire an espagnol et an anglais sans aucune problï¿½me.

Hello,

I have a garmin nï¿½vi 1250.

I just made the download of the locked map.
Then i used the keygen to generate a key.
I made a new gmapsupp.unl file in notedpad and have added the generated key.

When I startup the GPS, he loads the maps and says in the startup screen
navegacion satelital de costa rica 4.9.2.

When I go to extra -> setup -> map -> info -> navsat costa rica retail 4.9.2
So I think the installation is OK.

How can I know that the installation of the maps are OK?
How can I make a calculation between 2 cities in costa rica?
When I want to make a calculation of a new adres, the GPS ask the country?
I can only select belgium of the netherlands. Why can't I select costa rica?

I just installed the new maps of costa rica (V5.0).

Now everything is working.
