    OK.
See, I intend to put all my maps in the MS card. Today I have the CN in the nuvi, and the others in card.
I will use TRC, CN 2010.30 and Autoguia only in the card, and I will use WGMap tool to joint all maps in just one.
The question is: I know that I will have to erase CN from the Nuvi. But, should I erase just the .img file or the .unl and .sum too?
    Thank you,

    Eduardo

You could have one map in device and one map on card, no need to erase one in device if regions are not the same (no overlapping), so you can leave CN in device and compile other maps and put them in card, but if you intend to have one complete compilation on card then erase only gmapprom.img (gmapsupp.img) and appropriate .unl file, leave all other files on device. Put new .unl file (if needed) on card together with .img

    Thank you very much.
That is the point. I want to keep all maps on card. Is it a bad idea?
How do I get the new .unl file? Because, wgmaptool generates just the gmapsupp.img file.

    Dear,
I read it, and I think that I understood it. But I think that it is used for locked maps, is it?
    I am using unlocked maps.
    Let me explain...
Using the wgmaptool I created just a file with these maps (all unlocked): CN 2010.30, Autoguia V 2.17, Tracksource TRC + TRU-SP.
I want to erase the CN 2010.20 of the internal memory of the nuvi and put this file .img created from wgmaptool in the card.
So... do I have to erase the .unl file from unit and send this same file to the card?
Because all the files are unlocked, do I have to have this .unl file.
    Thank you

    Eduardo

If all maps are unlocked - no need for new .unl file
You can remove old .unl file

Oh... that is a good news. Easier than I thought.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
You can not imagine how much you helped me.
    Thank you again.
