Thread: Garmin City Navigator China v7.5 QSI with Offsets Corrected ENG CH+bmap+Hongkong Macau

I was playing with this map for a few days now @ Dalian, Wuxi, Shanghai and Suzhou.

Yes, it is have offsetted! Now the track log from the gps can be used in other mapping software and Google Earth.

HOWEVER, i noticed a bug (maybe it is present in all other version also). when I try to get the GPS (NUVI146o) to navigate from Shanghai Pudong to Suzhou, it strangely give route that far too long winded - i am very familiar with this route. When I was about 60-70 km from Suzhou, the route still tell me to follow a route tht is more than 150km!!! it is only when i was about 40km fr suzhou, appr, that the route corrected... SO!... meanwhile I will have to be careful with this bug .

I was not looking for Garmin links for my N97, they are easy to find. in my last post i said i have been using Garmin but would give R66 another try if someone could post links for it including China map.

Tested in Beijing:
Venus-CN-China-750-ENG-qsi: there is strong offset, cannot use.
750 unlocked: perfect! (with pinyin name)
760-CHS: perfect! (with local Chinese name)

Which download on the first page of this thread is this 750 unlocked? Is it also the one in the www Dot megaupload Dot com/?d=1337OIKV - Link?
I ask this because I want to be sure to have the one whithout offset when I travel in China in April.

i used the map in Shanghai Hangzhou and Suzhou and i found the map ws pretty good - small error about 10 meters sometimes - BUT for pedestrian mode it is very good and it aslo a lot of tourism poi and mosques - very very good map

Are there a mirror web site with megaupload ?

I remember a friend used with 500t long ago, attached a file name ???.bin(I can remember...), maybe can correct offset.
