Nokia and Garmin both use the same map (Navteq). So, map quality should be same.

installed garmin on my nokia n82 for the first time seeing the instructions in

downloaded maps from here (from the first link rapidshare) and put it in garmin directory and as per the instruction in the simple guide page used jetmouse keygen and put the device ID as 3282091116 ( imei unit id convertor) from settings and generated a software unlockcode and in maps there was india in keygen so i chose custom mapset and wrote 218 as map id and generated unlockcode and created a SW.UNL and GMAPSUPP.UNL in note pad and pasted in garmin directory

now on starting the garmin on phone it says

"cant unlock maps for garmin device with unit id 3282091116 do you want to unlock now"

even if i key in the 25 gen keygen given by the keygenerator it says the same

can you help me what to do?

this is an update, no need to unlock ,follow istructions in first post
you need to have the previous version and click yes when it asks to replace it

if this is the case where can i download the previous version? can you give me the link

And two more things

when i downloaded the jetmouse keygen JM5Digit i got a CRC error and then scrolled down to laterpost i found another keygen whicj was supposed to cancel the checksum error but on downloading the newer keygen too ( hosted on neomangsm) i still get crc error. so i******* it with JMKG15 which was also available here

i get the CRC error in the sw.unl gmapsupp.unl generator too i downloaded a newer version in the same forum and now created the UNL but still i get the same message when i start garmin

it has been close to 5 hours of work. ill be glad if you help me please !!

if you have all these difficulties with the jetmouse keygen use the unlocked map.
Do you use win 7 or vista? if yes run the keygen as administrator--
have you saved the sw.unl as all files? if you have txt ext in your file it wont work--
--you dont need anything else is a full map-- but believe me,the unlocked map works like a charm

i use XP

yes i have saved the sw.unl as all files .

may be ill try the unlocked version and let you know.
