    Default Garmin Quest 1 Mapping

    Hello all,
Following my pursuit of some old garmins I got a Quest 1. It came with City Navigator V8+
I know that these units don't support NT mapping, some the latest Garmin maps as far as I am aware are City Navigator V9.

Knowing this, what osm maps would run on this unit?
Knowing that the internal memory is small, I thought about BBBike Ontrail or Openfietsmaplite, but I had in mind the latest only routes for bicycles, blocking highways, anyone can confirm?

One of the "issues" with BBBIke or even alternativas libres is that they are divided by country and so having two countries is complicated.

Regarding this, heavier maps such as openmapchest or openfietsmap have europe installer for basecamps.

    What are your experiences?

    Have a great weekend

With old "non-NT" devices like that Quest i've found the best way is to use openmapchest .gmap PC install to select and send the areas you need to the device via MapInstall or MapSource:
