The power switch never worked when the unit froze, it is currently working, I have cleaned and dried the SD card reader multiple times and checked that the nine contact points are on the card contacts. The unit has no way of connecting to a computer, I would update software using a SD card, which I can't now. It currently cannot read the inbuilt map. "Can't unlock maps", comes up after the unit boots up. Not quite sure what a Mass Storage device or a Region-only device is, to me it is a free-standing GPS with sonar and a built-in antenna, no USB inputs. I was hoping that there was a reset switch on the internal circuit board as the software "Factory Settings" has achieved nothing. This could be a bridge too far!
