Is it possible to upgrade the Garmin65LM to include traffic information?
Also once a Garmin is discontinued does it stop getting map updates and firmware updates from Garmin?

You mean DriveSmart 65 i guess, so it depends on which one you've got how it handles traffic. I think DS65 is available in EU/UK as either a Live Traffic model or Digital Traffic model. The first can get traffic information by pairing it with the Garmin app on a smartphone. The second receives OTA DAB radio signals using a dedicated cable and doesn’t require pairing with a smartphone.
Garmin stops updating both maps and fw when they deem devices to be at 'end of life'. Many discontinued devices are still supported for many years.'Thanking Posts' are banned.
