Help needed please. My nuvi 50 is working but wont connect to my computer for updates. With advice from Butters for a past issue with another unit, I have tried different computers, cables and checked the physical usb port for damage. I think the issue is probably either a component failure, or a glitch in software preventing any connection. The sd card slot is working ok, so my next attempt is to reinstall the firmware by sd card, but am asking if anyone has an sd card kit already made up and in their possesion that I could use, or if not somone can show me the steps to create one. Ive searched the forum for similar-ish problems but in order to not destroy my nuvi, I just want to be 100 % certain what Im doing with each step. I have a small issue which gives me concentration problems, and so simplicty to do some things is better, if someone can help and keep it easy for me that would be really appreciated. I have a GCD file and an RGN file ready to use.
