Thread: Garmin and Speed Cams

I think Garmin has lost their way.
Every time I turn on Garmin Express and that is on a daily bases.

Spoiler: I get speed cam updates

I think once every 2 weeks should be enough to get updates.
Even once a month is good enough.

If they were that go with map updates that would be far better.....

I spend a lot of time traveling and I have yet to see any new speed cams on the many roads I drive on.

That includes Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany.

I do not know where all these speed cams are that I get almost everyday.......

Well I got an answer from Garmin.
They admitted that that once a month is good enough but still keep sending Speed cam updated almost everyday.

Please note that updating the Cyclops database regularly is optional and not mandatory. If you would like only update it once a month for example, you are free to do so.

So why even send me this many updates when once a month is good enough.....

I would think that is also the case for other gps app and the speed cams that are posted here.

It is just one big waste of time......
