Thread: Garmin drivesmart 65 with Alexa

Yes i see but i don't want to connect it to my phone. I was asking will speedcam work if i install it via computer and newer connect to my phone, i have no idea if it will work this way. I may have to test it and see.

edit: maby someone knows if even cyclops speedcam files works this way on tis thing. Let me know.

edit2: I may not understand this right, do i have speedcams even when not connected to smartphone and only for updates i need smartphone? i have speedcam files and want to install it with computer like with my old navigator

I now had this navigator few days and i highly recommed it.

- you do not have to install app, or connect it to your phone for it to work like a normal navigator
- cyclops europe is included so you don't need to install speedcams manually
- you can turn off wifi and bluetooth if not needed
- with bluetooth connection you can use it as handsfree and it works very well, no smartphone app is needed
- it is ready to use out of the box, there is no need to hack this thing in any way

- you can not use traffic funtion without smartphone app which requires to create garmin account and i think you need to register the device, i'm not sure i don't have garmin account

All in all great purchase.
