Hi, I know these units are old but I have 2 Garmin quests, one is a Harley Davidson Road tech quest I'd like to still use on my bike. The other I bought used for 20.00. I've searched quest on here but didn;t find much. My unit came with 2006 and 2009 city select/navigator (non NT). I have a code for the 2006 but when I use PGFT tool it unlocks through the tba in mapsource but on the device it says "Can;t unlock maps.

Should I be using JM 1.5 tool to put my device id in etc, map id's (gotta figure out where to find that) etc? Sorry I've been reading the forums but not sure which file structure or tools I need to use. It installs as img files with a tba file as well. I don't see any unl files in the folder.

I'd like to keep this portable device going, it looks nice lit up orange with Harley logo. I'm ok with 115mb limit, I just need to install local Canada/Ny maps.
