Garmin Nuvi 50LM - lost text languages after update

Hello everybody,

I hope that you will be able to help me with an issue that I have. Yesterday I have updated my Garmin Nuvi 50LM to the last version of the maps (Eastern Europe 2023.10) and the software (v4.0) but after that, I found that on the navigation there is only one text and keyboard language available - American English and none of the other options. I have checked on Garmin Express but there are no options to download another language for the keyboard or the text.

Do you have any ideas on how can I install the Bulgarian language and from where I can download it? I have checked in the folder of the navigation and I see folder "Text" but folder "Keyboard" is missing. Probably it was deleted in the process of updating the software.

Under Garmin Express go to:

The latest version of Garmin Express is 7.13.1.0

Maybe update it.

1. Tools and Content:
2. Optional Updates
3. Language Files

Install what you need.

There are 3 voices

Bulgarian__.vpm
Bulgarski__Bogdana.vpm
Bulgarski__Iliyan.vpm

If that does not help use WebUpdater to get what you need....

If still there is a problem maybe someone could post the files you need.

Make sure you have the folder Keyboards on you nuvi to.

The file you need is "bg_BG.kbd"

I have already managed to download the Bulgarian voice from Garmin Express (my version of the software is the latest, which you mentioned above) but the Text language and the Keyboard language remained the same after the update - only English. I have also tried with WebUpdater but the only options for downloading there are for voice language in other languages.

I will be really thankful if someone is able to upload all the files from the Keyboard and Text folder for Nuvi 50LM.

Keyboards download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

It works with the provided files above. I have all languages now both on the keyboard and text. Thank you very much!

Seems like link with texts/keboards is not I'm looking for - in keyboard there is no enter button (this you know, green, automatically adjusted like in default english one)
Can somebody share here finnish voice (Suomi___), texts and keyboard, just in case?

What I did wrong, but I have no 3D, see map in settings marked / checked as selected, but nothing happens.
No JCV, cameras. But can live without, navi working itself quite ok.

If possible, can somebody please share Garmin folder (w/o maps / images)... or say what needed for speed cameras (C)

The nuvi 50, the subject of this thread is not compatible with 3D building images.(gmap3d.img)Garmin Express would not install that file!
Cyclops Safety camera .gpi files go in the POI folder.
