I have converted Nuvi 250W HWID 0827 to Nuvi 465 (used the original 0827 boot.bin combined with 465's fw_all.bin and keeping the HWID as 0827).
The truck mode works fine.
There is no speed limit indicator and that is very important for me.
Is there any way that conversion can be done with speed limit indicator?

SLI data is embedded in the detail map *.img but relies on the device having the ability to display it. Sometimes the firmware (main system software) in region 14 is capable of all functions however some may be disabled by another region, commonly region 16 where the logo splash info is held. If you've not changed region 16 from the 'crippled' version factory-flashed to the second generation nuvi 250W then you may lack some functions even after conversion to either 255W/465T. In that case you should flash either the 2x5W or 465T logo to rgn16 to see if you then have SLI showing. See: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
