I just ordered a Drive smart 55 , so excited
Just have 1 question :
Does it have Auto ON and OFF when plugged in my car
My old TT had it , very convenient

Yes. All Garmin automotive devices will power on or wake from standby when connected to an appropriate external power source.
When disconnected from external power they will power off (usually 10 to 30 seconds depending on device firmware). During the delay it's displaying a message which lets you choose to override the automatic action.

Update :
Just got my Smart drive 55 ..
I like it , although "Voice recognition" is not perfect ..
BTW .. Is there a way to add more Voice guidance ?Last edited by Jimmy WG; 4th June 2021 at 01:24 PM.
