In my settings I have spoken Australian English and British English
The SmartDrive 61 I have is the EU version.
Australian Matilda, Lee and Karen.
UK Serena, James and Daniel
American Michelle, Samantha and Jack
Use the Webupdater if a spoken language is missing.
You can use Garmin Express to do the same.
Explain what brings up this message....."This feature is not available in British English"
Are you trying to use voice commands??
Example:
I am in Belgium and try to use UK voice command it will not work.
If I switch to Dutch and say the command in Dutch for a city it works.
The same is when in Germany and I try to use voice command for a Germany City it does not work.
The error is "This feature is not available in British English"
I have to switch to German and say the city in German and then it works.
While in UK voice
It will work with Favorites you have saved
Go Home will work
And a couple of other things.

Some more info about the localization of the device might be helpful. Was it purchased in AU with factory loaded Aussie maps or is it from another market such as US and brought into Australia? If it's an AU purchased device Voice Command should have worked out of the box and continue to work unless some essential ASR files have been removed or a partial AU/NZ map loaded rather than the complete map entitlement.
