Default New Battery for a Thai Nuvi 3770

    Hi,

Garmin Thailand is not able or willing to tell me the part number for a spare battery. I tried one for Amazon, but it doesn't charge after changing. Can anybody point me to the correct sparepart or the correct number to search by self?

    best regards

Maybe this will help, it's US/EU nuvi 3790 HWID 1101. Likely it's the same basic hardware as your TH nuvi 3770.

You've most welcome. As a side note, most lithium 3.7v batteries are usable if they physically fit in the space. Even the various Garmin OEM Li-ion batteries can have connector plugs that vary both in size and placement of the wiring so care needs to be taken there and modifications made if necessary. I've fitted Nokia phone batteries to some nuvi models with a little corrective soldering.
