Thread: No one here care about new Garmin SatNav anymore?

I am happy to stay with my old nuvi 52, because the maps are so much easier to update.

After the 52 dies, I am not sure I will bother with a new Sat Nav, as there are so many other phone/tablet/vehicle based options available now.

Can you elaborate more what current Garmin model have difficulty with map updating? I heard about it don't support unlocked map anymore, but that should be overcome by universal firmware, correct? And you won't need that universal firmware until your model is end of support.
