Nuvi 245x do not have BT capability probably. You can check it of you see on device near serial number plate or on box. There are must be BlueTooth logo on it. If it is absent it means no BT module in the device. The manual usually go for whole series of model and it do not make difference for each model not with BT neither without BT in series.
P.S. Nuvi 2445 is absolutely different device from more older series. Your device series have 7-8-9 at the end only. So nüvi 2457LMT is more suitable model for you!
