Thread: Garmin Nuvi 2545 cannot read map on external card

The files did not get copied to SD card properly. Now it is working just fine. Put the 2 files for europe and north america and renamed as follows, works fine.

SDcard: /Map/eu.img
SDcard: /Map/na.img

I put the 'gmapprom.img' in a 'Map' folder and then when it did not work in the 'Garmin' folder but the map is not recognized. Is there a work around? I looked for tips here but did not find a solution.
