2597lmt search bar doesnt find adress

I have 2597lmt firmware 8.30 and patched with Universal Firmware Patcher for Protected Garmin Devices

My device has pre installed australia maps updated from garmin express and i have on SD city navigator 2016.30 unlocked in Garmin file containing folders

JCV,
D3048210A.JCV

SID,
D3175200A.sid -
D3176200A.sid -
D3427180A.sid -
D3414190A.sid -
D5677030A.sid -

SQlite
D3413190A.db

everything works fine except that if i search for an adress in search bar where to? it doesnt find it , it used to! it can find pois town etc but not adress!
if i search through find adress icon its all ok!

What can the problem be? thanx in advance!

Hi crow0 !
All SQlite-files must be in device memory /.System/SQlite folder. Otherwise the nuvi can't see them ( read file GarminDevice.xml from /Garmin folder in device memory ).

Thank you Victor for your reply, i copied the files to the folders of /.System on my Nuvi but nothing changed .
Everything worls just fine routing, alerts, everything except in search bar doesnt search for adresses, it searches for everything else!
Could it be sth with the sid files? I really dont have a clue!

Update to City Navigator Australia & New Zealand NT HERE 2017.10 by Express then hard reset.

Edit: I see you're talking about CNEU NTU

look at garmindevice.xml as suggested and download missing files from
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Try to search with the "near by..." option or try to set a position in Europe...

P.S. Addressing SID is for external address points but classic addressing (along road) must work even with img map only.

Well i have done everything (even replaced the sid and db files in the system folders)
but it just wont find any adress through the search bar what ever i do its comes up with pois, towns but not adress
only through find adress tab works for an adress!
not a big deal but its irritating

in 2016.20 worked but i had 8.20 firmware maybe its gotta do sth with it?
in australia map everything works just fine !
i ll just try it with 2017.10 when it comes out and we'll see if it changes!

On your GPS: Do not use the upper "Enter search", you must use the address icon, pressing the postcard with magnifying glass icon. Have you done that? The upper search area is not good for normal address search and gives more frustration than help.

yep searching adress through the postcard with the magnifying glass works great . The ''quick search '' isnt giving me any adress'' only pois , towns ,
as i said not a big deal but its irritating!

That search bar is quite worthless in my opinion. It gives the results you say. It is like a surprise lottery, what you get out of it. I have official original maps and updates (lifetime map updates).
