Second, there is no hack or FW update to remove the 2 GB map file size limit for the nüvi 3xx series devices. However... by using MapInstall you could create your own 2GB version of the European map and place it on an SD card. Then use MapInstall again to create another version of the European map, complimentary to the first one, and place it in the internal memory of the nüvi (as far as available storage space allows). This way you will possibly still not be able to use the full 3.36 GB fill size (2016.20 NT version), but at least cover more of Europe than the 2 GB limit alone would permit.

Nuvi 350 Map size limit 2GB help
Hello,
i update my nuvi 350 to CN Europe NTU 2016.30 and stop working, i read in this forum about a limit size of 2GB in Nuvi 3xx and Nuvi 6xx
my question is how to remove 2GB limit, the Garmin Asus M10 have an update to do it, anyone know one update like that for my GPS?
Nuvi 350
Software Version 6.20
Audio Version 2.20
SW GTM 10 Version N/A
SW GPS Version 3.00
Garmin Express have no updates left to do
i try a lot of maps, i make maps under 2GB and work, i make maps over 2GB and stop work
