Lost Garmin Folders after last map update. Keyboard, etc.

Garmin Nuvi 1450, Mac OS 10.10.5 Since my last map update 3-4 days ago via Garmin Express ( I chose not to backup as it seems to create double favorites etc.) lost my radio button under settings for Keyboard, and all previous garmin garage vehicle icons. I also had a device start up message that I needed to go to webupdater for the FM update. Did that and no longer have that message. Went to Garmin Garage and reselected the vehicle icons. They show on the Garmin folder (when device is connected to my computer) but can't find how to select via the device. Attached a screen shot of my Garmin folder.

Bring nuvi12xx_13xx_14xxKeyboards_320.rgn to computer where your device is attached.
Then you can drag-and-drop nuvi12xx_13xx_14xxKeyboards_320.rgn onto the WebUpdater icon on your desktop.

Try to clean Vehicle folder, backup first your files on Mac and run again Webupdater or Express.

If you need some missing files after running Webupdater just ask.

downloaded the file but no longer have the icon for updater, wouldn't allow me to drag to the actual app, I re downloaded updater and only icon on desktop is the cardboard box but not the updater hard drive "icon". I went to express and did a backup currently running a map reinstall and that should be done in an hour. to summarize couldn't add the keyboard download and am in the process of reinstalling maps.

fyi (and thanks!!) I have a 4gb memory card that maps go into. I was able to take the last keyboard file and drag to system, I also brought several of the folders that were not in system (see first screenshot in thread) to resemble your shot of the "root". attaching that new screenshot. Still downloading the map update.

Rename the folder I sent to "Keyboards" like it's showing in my screen above and copy it in root, not in .System

Ok, you had just passed my tech ceiling. Not seeing "root". Will rename the folder Keyboards, will drag the all of the folders that I put in the System Folder, such as: Vehicles, GPX, Garmin, Text back out and assume that is root......AND ALL IS GOOD
