correct - I'm buying in UK - Europe version. Does it mean I don't have to buy Navigator to have detailed POI?

I use TomTom for years, and now I decided to upgrade for sth with Live Traffic (which seems to be so useful), but their newest models don't work with iOS 8 properly.
I chose G2599 Europe, and now, as I understand, for detailed POI and buildings info, I need addition like CityNavigator. Am I correct?
