Question though -- where is the Maps Index you are referring to? I swear I've come across it before, but I can't find it this morning, even after spending an hour cycling through posts, forums, and searches. All I can find is the western hemisphere version - "Garmin Maps Index Europe Asia Africa Americas Middle East Australia&Oceania Bluechart".
