    Create a folder named Garmin in SD and inside Garmin folder copy the map as gmapsupp. if you have enabled the extensions for known files types in Windows you will see the file as gmappsupp.img if not just as gmapsupp. SDcard should be in FAT32 format.

    it means that is the same way we make the card for nuvi devices.

    You can only use one map inside Garmin folder and this map must be named as gmappsupp, this kind of restrictions doesn't exist in newer Nuvi devices.
