Lifetime updates but no internal memory space... (Nuvi 1390)

Hi, i am updating Nuvi 1390 to my uncle. When i connect gps to garmin software it says that i have available "numaps lifetime Europe 2015.40 eunt", 2 questions:

1 - This means that this gps have lifetime updates?
2 - The internal memory have 3,62GB Total available space but the update have 3,9GB. If i insert a 8GB microsd card the software will install the new update on it automatically?

Done. But now in map info where before show 2012.20, now dont show anything, just blank... What do you think of that? Thanks

What do you mean? Does the map show on the unit for navigating [from main start screen, pressing 'View Map'] but there is no info in Tools>Setting>Map>Info? Or not showing in either? Please be specific.

Show the map but on settings, map, info its blank, no maps. When i put an adress it says no cartography available... The program say update sucefully so it should work fine but no... Thanks

Enable hidden files and extensions in your Windows, attach your nuvi USB and look at files to see if it downloaded gmapprom.img, gmapprom.unl and gmapprom.gma-
Check also if nuvi sees your sd.
Best choice is to redownload update again, probably.

Update again but it says "No cartography" every time i put any adress...
On microsd card have 2 folders
- Garmin (With gmappupdate.gsd file with 0kb)
- Map (With 3 files: 1- gmapupdate (3,4GB) 2-gmapupdate.unl 1kb 3-gmapupdate.gma 3kb)

I guess: gmapupdate.img ?
It seems you nuvi doesnt see the sd

Anything i can test? Should i format the microsd card and test again? Should i format in some special format? NTFS, fat32...?

SD must be in fat32 if you like to install complet CN.
