to disable it
Start, Run: (type) msconfig
Click on Startup tab
then "uncheck" anything you don't want to run on startup Like: Garmin Express, jusched, Adobe's readers etc.
Ok
Restart

Problem with Garmin CoreUpdate
Hi
I had a problem with this software, I don't konw how or why in C:/ProgramData/Garmin/Core Update Service its appears a folder called MAP-NA-2015.20 and its download an actuallitazion of North America map, the img file and the mapsource files.
I delete all and its created again and again
The problem is the free space in disk C
How to uninstall this service?
Is garmin express service?

It's maybe a little more covert, if it's not visible in Task Manager>Start-up find it with Autoruns.exe:

Or please update garmin express and uncheck "Always keep garmin express running in the background". For me after it the such problem has gone away on the latest version. Garmin gave this annonce on forum...
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

Or try Start -> Run and type "services.msc"
Here you can also disable if it is launched as a service

I'm mildly surprised GE still works in it, it's really only a matter of time until Garmin drops xp support for it too. Provided you're running the 32 bit version i'll forgive you Giomen, i still like it but hate XP_64 with a burning passion ....
