Opps! Just saw the above post #20 [it's over the page, i'm set for 10 posts a page]. That's not how WU should be invoked by the bat file. The GUI should not open, it should simply immediately invoke the progress window only. No wonder you couldn't get it to work, it would take ages for WU to open it's GUI, etc. I've just tried the BAT file again to load Rarotonga gmapprom to rgn49 on mine. It worked fine, no GUI showed just the progress window instantly popped up and reporting erasing [the 251MiB AUNZ map] and then it loaded the little map, all in a few seconds. I'm now replacing it again with AU/NZ, no problem with the GUI opening went straight to the little progress window.
I guess that's Win 7 on your PC by the pic. Mine is 8.1 64bit. Try right clicking the BAT file and quickly selecting run as Administrator which will run it with elevated privileges but then you'll have another window to click thru for that too, which will slow you down. I just don't understand why the GUI is opening using the BAT file command. You could also try running the command manually using command prompt, open it as Administrator and have the command text ready in the DOS box to hit enter when the SP connects.
