The map if correctly unlocked should work in a Garmin root folder of microSD named gmapsupp.img. Also as anyname.img in a root folder Map of the card. [sd:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img or sd:\Map\*.img]. Run [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] on your map image to ensure it's fully unlocked.

Maps do not work in Garmin folder of the unit in 2010>devices [1xxx>] Your 3590 has a hidden folder named '.System' where the name gmapsupp.img will work. If you have your PC's folder options set at it's defaults, you'll not be able to see it. Also 3590 is a MTP device and that's the default setting for the unit so it must be set to MSM [Mass Storage Mode]. Some reading for you:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [same for 2xxx, 3xxx etc]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [ditto]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Lots more interesting stuff in the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and also check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Search is your friend....

    No Joy!!
The file "gmapsupp.img" was already unlocked, but, I unlocked it again then I copied it into a folder on my SD card named "Map."
I also tried the internal storage way, still no joy!
