    Open Street Maps are are good free alternative in many parts of the world if the Garmin map's not up to scratch or non-existent:

    I've no idea how good they are for South Korea though .....

    I hope you bought it new. Garmin's warranty is worldwide for 12 months after purchase. A problem may arise if you take it to a Garmin agent/retailer in Korea, 'cos they probably won't want to know about it. The Asian service centre is in Taiwan, but you might want to start with Korea:

    many thanks for the info. So, I just select the area of a map and download to my Pc ? How do I load to the Garmin 660 and what location on the device ? Sorry for the probably stupid type questions but, as I said, I am new to this !
