As the 3790 can store up to 1000 waypoints, favorites and locations on the internal flash memory you mean the actual flash memory is fully used I guess. In that case, you could move a map or a jcv file, or even ASR/SRX or POIs to a microSD and create space internally as those files will still work fine from there.

Thanks Neil. I moved some Maps, POI etc. on my Micro Sd card. When I try to add a favorite, I just get the same message: Favorite memory is saturated I guess I am stuck. Can I use the favorites from my SD card like the maps ?

Favorite store in flash memory only!
Do you have more than 1000 point? Clear not-used point or back-up it in partition.
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

I guess I will have to do that. It seems that extra POI are also stored in the flash memory. I don't see how I can delete some of them.

No doubt you can use POILoader for saving and using your favorite database. You must create separate folder with unique name for each of your categories.

But you can try to edit categories in Mapsource too. In settings create your categories by name and then you can pick up its in waypoint properties. You can also mark several favourites with shift or control key and then change waypoint properties for this group. I do it for competitions and adventure when I would need to load waypoint in Nuvies under events category.

P.S. temp.gpx (or others) is more suitable than current.gpx. In this case the uploaded gpx files stay in device as original and would be restored after reset. If you want replace favourite just clear all in device menu and after replace saved gpx file.

Is there a way to send current.gpx file from GPS to map source AND keep the categories? Last time I did this I lost ALL my categories . I had to redo the category in Map Source. It is a long job to to.
