    Where did you not see TMC icon? On map only?
    Do you see traffic option in setting menu? If it is yes you can try reset GTM or check for validation of subscription. Alexaneder used Asia SW version and you need reset probably...
    Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

    I have same issue with firmware 6.20 on my 1390 and 1490. Both lost the ability to communicate with the traffic cables, GTM-26 and GTM-25. I purchased a new GTM-26 with a Nuvi 2360 and that one works only with the 2360 GPS it came with. The traffic is not really effective anyway, when traffic is really heavy there are no alternative roads to take in New York. But it is a nice diversion which sometimes is helpful. Garmin should fix the problem which must be with their "updates".
