Thread: Can't get into preboot on 2497 :(

Hi Folks,

I tried to get into preboot mode as suggested and failed.
All I always get is a calibration screen.

What I am doing there:
1.press-hold upper-left corner of the screen
2. holding corner press -hold power button
3. I see garmin logo appeared om the screen and message "loading..." on top of it
4. I release the power button but still touch the corner
5. Message "loading..." is blinking there for a while then I get into calibration white screen with cross and point "tap here"

Could you please advise me what I am doing wrong?

You need rgn file and open updater.exe where you will see that nuvi is in pre boot.
