Garmin 3490 power issue

Today i recived nuvi 3790 with broken screen

I take board from 3790 and add it in 3490 unit and i have now working nuvi

Here is pictures like i promised

Report about accuracy please

Now when is still 3790 is about 23 meters but we have bad weather.
I charge now battery and then i will modified it in 3490

Will report accuracy

When i will have more time i will also try to take board with GPS chip from 3490 and add it in this nuvi.
For change GPS board i must resolder wire that is visible on picture 5.

p.s.
3790 and 3490 have the same number on GPS chip.

I have the same problem like you with a 3490 and tried to connect 3790's PCB to 3490's LCD and touch screen, but I cannot because it has different connectors not like 3790's and I cannot connect 3790's PCB to 3490's LCD and touch screen.

I don't know why you don't have the same connectors i have the same.

Do you have some picture of your board and flat cable of screen?

3490 PCB is on the right of the first photo and 3790 is on the left side.

I have on 3490 and 3790 blue board.

Maybe Giomen know why you have green board on 3490.

3490 connectors - are incompatible with 3790.
only transient (hybrid) models are compatible with each other.
color psb in 3760 - blue, in 3490 - green - but there are exceptions.

I have a transitional model - 3490 - but the display from 3790 and gps chip mt3328 not nl5500 -and positioning accuracy of about 5-9 meters

After transformation from 3790 to 3490 accuracy is 7-12 meters
